CLIENT BRIEF
The client's requirement was for an office that balances simplicity, functionality, and comfort, with a special emphasis on excellent acoustics. Given the strict timelines and a predetermined move-in date, the office fit-out was completed in record time, ensuring that every aspect of the office design met both aesthetic and practical needs.
OUR SOLUTION
Covering an area of 5,000 sqft, the office fit-out for Wanta Shipping showcases a blend of functionality and a sleek, minimalist design. The project was a collaborative effort, with Studio Sahab bringing their design expertise to the forefront. The office pantry is a testament to this blend, featuring light and clean aesthetics with terrazzo-looking tiles, black kitchen cabinets, and white countertops. The addition of green dining chairs injects a vibrant pop of color into the black-and-white interior.
The reception area is distinguished by a curved gypsum wall, creating a welcoming yet private space. Adjacent to the reception, a collaborative nook offers a relaxed setting for Wanta's employees to take breaks and recharge. This area is complemented by a high table with an oak wooden top and a concrete base, fostering a sense of collaboration.
The boardroom, expansive and elegant, is furnished with grey leather chairs and a dark wenge table. Wood veneer details add warmth to the space, enhancing the room's executive feel. The office's flooring strategy employs grey carpets in varying patterns to visually demarcate different areas. White workstations, paired with simple black ergonomic chairs, give the open-plan area a comfortable yet refined look. To support daily functions, multiple smaller meeting rooms are strategically integrated throughout the office, ensuring both privacy and accessibility.
